Wake My Heart is a Christian electronic music project seeking to use aspects of the genre to complement and emphasize theological truth and the message of the Gospel.

Electronic music is rhythmic and repetitive, reflecting something of daily life in this world. As the Preacher writes:

“A generation goes, and a generation comes,
but the earth remains forever.
The sun rises, and the sun goes down,
and hastens to the place where it rises.”— Ecclesiastes 1:4–5, ESV

The repetitive pulse and looping patterns of electronic music can echo the rhythms of life on earth: the day-in, day-out cycles that often feel ordinary, wearying, and unending.

Yet, within this rhythm, the arc of human history tells a remarkable story—the truest story: the story of redemption. All of history builds toward the one unrepeatable, climactic moment of God becoming man in the person of Jesus Christ. He lived in perfect obedience to the Father, suffered and died for sin, rose from the dead in victory over Satan and death, and ascended to heaven glorified and exalted. This is the climactic moment of history: the fulfillment of all that came before it and the event by which all that follows is forever changed.

A well-crafted electronic song—with its slow, steady build, climactic apex, and satisfying resolve—can reflect the rich arc of this greatest and truest story.

Wake My Heart aims to set God’s Word and rich theological truth to electronic music, using AI tools thoughtfully to create, refine, and publish music that wakes and encourages the hearts of God’s people.
